Munich: Cult ballet “Giselle” Live in the cinema – Munich

Today the Russian dances at the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam. On January 21st there will be a worldwide live broadcast of the ballet classic “Giselle”, which can also be seen in cinemas in Munich. Of course with Olga Smirnova in the title role, and Jacopo Tissi as Alfred, also a former Bolshoi principal who turned his back on Russia in March 2022. The Dutch National Ballet presents “Giselle” in Rachel Beaujean and Ricardo Bustamante’s acclaimed reinterpretation of Marius Petipa’s legendary original choreography. The Dutch Ballet Orchestra plays under Ermanno Florio.
