Munich: City school council speaks about air filters, Corona and daycare places – Munich

Since taking office, city school council Florian Kraus has primarily had to deal with crisis management. A conversation about the problems of distance teaching, delayed renovations and what would actually be important to him if it weren’t for a pandemic.

The department for education and sport in Bayerstraße, sixth floor: City school council Florian Kraus (Greens) has been working there since February. From up there he can see the tracks at the main train station. A lot of movement, like in the Munich school landscape, especially in a pandemic. Home office, says Kraus, is not his thing – once he was in quarantine, his back caused problems afterwards. Because of the good office chair, he prefers to go to the office.
