Because of the tax evasion process against star chef Alfons Schuhbeck, Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) is taking his cooking programs out of the TV program for the time being. The public broadcaster confirmed on Thursday in Munich the German Press Agency a corresponding report T-Online.
The BR said it was five episodes of “Alfons & Ali – Enjoyment to the 3rd”. These should actually be broadcast every Sunday at 5:15 p.m. from October 16th. The new episodes of “Schuhbeck’s kitchen cabaret” from November 20th will not be broadcast either. No further productions are currently planned.
Schuhbeck is accused of tax evasion in the millions before the Munich I district court. This week, the 73-year-old top chef made an extensive confession.
From the ZDF it was said about the cooking show “Kitchen Battle”, in which star chefs can be seen alternately: “For the recordings of the new “Kitchen Battle” editions, the ZDF has already taken into account that Alfons Schuhbeck was not in the broadcast is used.”
