A 48-year-old exhibition stand builder suffered such severe internal head injuries after a fall after a binge with two colleagues that he died of it four days later in a Munich clinic. According to the police, the three men had drunk alcohol in a hotel parking lot in Aschheim near Munich on Saturday evening. Two retired to the hotel around midnight, the 48-year-old remained alone in the parking lot. Later, the two saw through the window that their colleague was lying on the asphalt.

Since they couldn’t take him to the hotel, they put him in the back seat of their car. When they wanted to go to work together in the trade fair town of Riem the next day, he was still sitting there, supposedly asleep. Because he didn’t wake up, they drove him to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed a life-threatening head injury. Despite the operation, the man did not survive.
