Munich: Bamboleo in Giesing – the Sechzger have a new clubhouse – Munich

Not far from the Grünwalder Stadium, TSV 1860 has set up its new club restaurant. What it looks like there, when the “Bamboleo” opens – and why the guests sit there on chairs on which a lot of prayer has already been said.

If TSV 1860 Munich needs a miracle again in the near future – let’s say in the 89th minute of the game when the score is 1:2 – then one or two prayers will certainly be sent to heaven in the “Bamboleo”. Or more precisely: towards the ceiling, where dozens of golden Sixzger lions are emblazoned on a green background. And at least the seating below, where the fans can probably hardly stand because of the tension, is ideal for this. The simple wooden chairs that the TSV purchased for its new clubhouse called “Bamboleo” once stood in a church in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. “So that means,” says Julian Reich, as a smile spreads across his face, “that people have often prayed on these chairs.”
