An older man in the Neuaubing district of Munich faced a burglar on Saturday afternoon – in his own apartment. According to the police, the approximately 26-year-old perpetrator, who was carrying a red shoulder bag, broke in through the patio door. When he was surprised by the apartment owner, he asked for a glass of water. Suddenly he grabbed the 80-year-old man’s gold chain, snatched it and piled up. The attack occurred in the area of Hoheneckstrasse, Seldeneckstrasse and Limesstrasse.
