When he’s not rehearsing or composing new pieces of music, Hartmut Zöbeley likes to spend his time in nature, in his own garden or cycling. In general, the conductor is very environmentally conscious: the topics of sustainability and climate change not only concern him privately, they also have an impact on his compositions. In his appearance with the Sinfonietta symphony orchestra at the Theatron Music Festival, he will be performing his Singspiel “Our world, it’s burning. Nobody comes out of it” alongside works by Shostakovich, Strauss and Dvorak.
