Many motorcycle owners deregister their vehicle in autumn because leaves and mud, rain and cold reduce the desire to ride – and increase the risk of accidents. However, if the motorcycle has to spend the winter outdoors, a weatherproof cover makes perfect sense.
In general, it is always better for a motorcycle to be stored in a garage over the winter so that it does not have to be exposed to local weather conditions (such as sun and rain, snow and ice). However, if the owner does not have a closed parking space for his vehicle, he has no choice but to park his motorized two-wheeler outdoors. So that there is no risk of rusting or being covered by a thick layer of dust, a suitable one is required motorcycle cover recommended. How to properly care for the motorcycle cover
an ordinary one motorcycle cover is usually not washable. Nevertheless, the tarpaulin should be cleaned when it is no longer needed – so that it can be used again in the next winter season. It is perfectly sufficient to remove dust and dirt, pollen and leaves from the material. You should also check the cover for any punctures to make sure it’s still watertight. Before you fold the tarpaulin after thorough cleaning, it should be completely dry.
