motorcycle:Reinhold Roth died

Former motorcycle racer and World Cup runner-up Reinhold Roth died at the age of 68. This was confirmed by Roth’s wife Elfriede, who had looked after her husband in Wangen im Allgäu for more than three decades. Roth survived an accident on June 17, 1990 at the Grand Prix of Yugoslavia in Rijeka with very serious injuries. Since then he has been in need of care.

At the end of the 1980s, Roth won three world championship races in the 250cc class and finished second on a Honda in 1987 and 1989: first behind Toni Mang, the exceptional German racing driver and five-time world championship champion, then behind the Spaniard Sito Pons.
