The mother of the child found stabbed to death in Marseille was indicted for murder at the end of his police custody, during which she explained that she was overwhelmed by the “crises” of her autistic son, announced the floor on Monday.

After less than 24 hours at the Bishop’s Palace, at the headquarters of the Marseille judicial police, the 39-year-old mother, separated from her husband and who took care of her son full-time, had “quickly recognized the facts”, explained Sunday evening the prosecutor of Marseille.
Before the investigators, the alleged perpetrator of the murder explained that she first hit her son in her apartment on Friday, then took him to the edge of the river where she killed him with a kitchen knife. , leaving the body behind. She then reported his disappearance and even participated in the search.
To explain her gesture, the mother mentioned “the crises” from which her autistic son suffered, explaining “that she could no longer manage the situation”. “That day”, Friday, she “felt that it would never end”, according to the prosecution. “She was very protective of this child, she fought” for him, assured AFP one of the sisters of the child’s mother.
