More than 28 million euros donated to the Heritage Foundation

Games are made. At the end of the sixth edition of the Heritage Lottery, an allocation of 28.4 million euros will be allocated to the Heritage Foundation to enable the restoration of sites and monuments in danger. Of this sum, 6.8 million euros have already been granted to the eighteen emblematic sites of the regions during the European Heritage Days.

Global aid of 20 million euros is additionally granted to the 100 departmental sites selected in 2023, specifies the foundation. The sums granted by the Heritage Mission, led by Stéphane Bern, supplement public aid and self-financing to meet the entire financing requirement, within the limit of 300,000 euros per site.

More than 850 sites helped since 2018
