More casualties in Russian attacks on Ukraine

Several cities in Ukraine have again been attacked by Russian drones and rockets. At times there were air alerts across the country. Several people were injured and houses caught fire.

Last night Russia attacked several regions in Ukraine from different directions. According to the Ukrainian army, drones, Iskander and Kalibr missiles were fired – including from Kursk in Russia, as well as from the Russian shores of the Sea of ​​Asvo and occupied Crimea.

Several people were injured in the attacks this time too. For the third night in a row, Russia fired, among other things, the capital Kiev with Shahed drones, as the local military administration announced in the morning. A 19-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were injured by ejected parts and taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds.

Several houses caught fire. According to the Mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, a body was found during firefighting. However, according to the Kiev military administration in the morning, this person did not die as a result of the attacks.

Nationwide air alert

During the night there was a nationwide air alert at times. According to the Ukrainian army, the Ukrainian army shot down a rocket in the western Ukrainian region of Khmelnytskyi.

According to military governor Yuriy Malashko, more than 20 people, including eight minors, were injured in the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia. 13 injured had to be taken to the hospital. In the Zaporizhia region, 14 towns were shot at a total of 80 times in one day. More than 40 buildings were damaged.

At least three civilians were killed and three others injured in the adjacent Kherson region on Wednesday and Thursday, Governor Olexander Prokudin said. Settlements have been shelled and bombed more than 79 times. Thirty-three shells were fired at the regional capital of Cherson alone. The authorities of the Kharkiv region informed about two injured.
