A 15-year-old fled from a police check in Moosburg and caused a rear-end collision with a total of four injured. A patrol car chasing him could not brake and crashed into the car. The policeman at the wheel was slightly injured, as were the teenager and his 17-year-old passenger. The police officer’s 21-year-old colleague suffered several bruises and a broken bone, the police said on Saturday. There was damage of around 200,000 euros.

The young person was previously in the car with his companion on Saturday night when the officers became aware of a tip-off. According to the information, they first tried to subject him to a traffic check, but he ignored the instructions and fled at high speed. He broke numerous traffic laws and ran over a metal post, losing control of his vehicle and ramming into four parked cars. He drove on for a short time, then he braked the car abruptly for reasons that were initially unclear. The patrol car crashed into the vehicle.

According to the first findings of the officials, the car is his parents’ car.
