This is the first major trophy in NAHB history, and what a trophy. The
Nantes handball players created the feat by winning the first European League in the history of French hand, by beating the Hungarians of Siofok (36-31), reigning champions, Sunday in Baia Mare in Romania. It is the first European title of a Nantes team of collective sport.

The daughters of Guillaume Saurina (former professional player from Nantes, Nîmes or Chambéry) almost led from start to finish and were never really in trouble in this final. At the break, they were ahead of four goals (17-13).
Yoann Joubert, president since January already titled!
The Nantes, who had never before taken part in a European Final Four, were impressive throughout the weekend, starting by winning their semi-final on Saturday against the Romanian host club of Baia Mare (36-34).
They therefore won the European League, the second continental competition behind the Champions League. As a reminder, the new president of the NAHB since the beginning of the year is none other than Yoann Joubert, business manager and boss of the real estate group Réalités. Which was associated with FCN president Waldemar Kita in the late YelloPark project two years ago.
