The career path leads more from radio to television, the more far-reaching medium, Thomas Gottschalk and Günther Jauch started their careers at Bayerischer Rundfunk. Then came the television. It was the same with Katrin Müller-Hohenstein, she came from Antenne Bayern to ZDF in January 2006, where she has been doing for 15 years Current sports studio moderated and for more than ten years accompanied major sporting events such as soccer world championships as a presenter, most recently she moderated the reporting of the Olympic Games alongside Rudi Cerne in Tokyo.
Now Katrin Müller-Hohenstein is returning to the station where she had her longest and certainly most formative radio time. From 1992 to 2007 she moderated the show, among other things Good morning Bavaria. As the broadcaster has now announced, she will moderate the show Sunday breakfastwhich is broadcast from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The start is on Sunday, September 5th. Müller-Hohenstein, 56, takes on the detailed conversation at a – as the title suggests – breakfast with celebrities from Florian Weiss, who is moving to ZDF in Düsseldorf, as Antenne Bayern writes on the company website.
Despite returning to radio, Katrin Müller-Hohenstein will continue to work for ZDF. In the communication, she is quoted as saying: “I am grateful that both are possible. I am a child of the radio.”
