Mobile Game: Blizzard releases Warcraft Rumble

The development studio Blizzard has released its mobile strategy game Warcraft Rumble for smartphones and tablets with Android and iOS. The title is available as a free download with a size of around 200 MB.

After the first start, additional files need to be downloaded. It is possible to register with Battle.net, but you can also play as a guest.

In Warcraft Rumble, players send their squad of collectible minis from the bottom of the screen towards the enemy, who in turn is traveling in the opposite direction. Whoever destroys the enemy base or the main boss first wins the game.

There are familiar characters like Jaina Proudmoore and Grommash Hellscream and armies of the Alliance, Horde, Beasts, Undead and Blackrock.

Warcraft Rumble features a campaign that pits you against computer-controlled opponents in environments such as Darkshore and Deadmines. A player-versus-player (PvP) system with seasons as well as cards and modifiers in rotation is also included.

In the item shop you can find extras such as an arc light booster pack for 20 euros, as well as an undead or an alliance package for 2 euros each. You can also buy coins for euros.

The first reviews in the app stores are positive: Users on iOS have so far given a 4.9 in Germany, in the Google Play Store the average rating is 4.7 (out of 5 each).
