Miscellaneous facts – Justice – The expulsion of Mariam Abou Daqqa, Palestinian activist arrested in Marseille, validated by the Council of State

The Council of State gave the green light this Wednesday to the expulsion of Palestinian activist Mariam Abou Daqqa, overturning a decision of the Paris administrative court which had suspended the expulsion order issued by the Ministry of the Interior to against him.

The Minister of the Interior is justified in maintaining that the summary judge of the Paris administrative court was wrong to suspend the expulsion“from the activist of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a radical left-wing organization described as “terrorist“by Israel and the European Union, estimated the Council of State to justify the annulment of the order of the Paris administrative court.

Mariam Abou Daqqa was arrested on October 16 in Marseille while she was going to Saint-Charles station where she was to take a train to Toulouse. The activist had participated the week before her arrest at a conference in Martigues, organized by the Palestine Ouest solidarity collective Etang de Berre.
