She recommended not to do without the “valuable experiences of the churches” and all those who are committed here with great responsibility. “There is more at stake here: protecting life – of unborn children as well as of women who make decisions alone in the most difficult situations and who may suffer from them throughout their lives,” explained the minister. Quickly removing the advertising ban will not solve the problems. “I would rather like a respectful social debate that focuses on professional information as well as personal advice and support – and thus on the life of mother and child,” said Trautner.
