These video recordings are currently spreading online. On “X”, formerly Twitter, this clip alone has been viewed more than 30 million times.
What happened? According to the company, two tanks at the local manufacturer “Destilaria Levira” burst.
The alcoholic tide quickly made its way through the town. The apocalyptic-looking river turns everything in its path red.
According to media reports, emergency services diverted the wine to a nearby field.
The company apologized for the incident and announced that it would cover the costs of repairing the damage. The exact amount is not yet known, but no one was injured.
