Watch the video: FBI finds secret documents in ex-Vice President Pence’s house
Media representatives outside the home of former Vice President Mike Pence after the FBI searched the property for classified documents on Friday. According to the federal authority, documents were discovered that had been classified accordingly. The Washington Post and CNN said the action was taken in consultation with the former Vice President’s attorneys.
In January, documents with potential secret information were found in the house in Carmel, Indiana. These were accidentally packed when Pence left office, his attorney said. Pence and his wife were not at the home during the search.
Ex-President Donald Trump has also had a visit from the FBI about secret documents in his Florida property. So does current US President Joe Biden. Special investigators from the Department of Justice are investigating the cases.
