Mike Heiter’s romantic declaration of love to Leyla Lahouar

Leyla Lahouar and Mike Heiter, who met each other cautiously in the Australian wilderness, are now even more passionate.

Leyla Lahouar (27), known from the show “The Bachelor”, and Mike Heiter (31) from “Love Island” write the reality TV love story of the year. During their time together in the RTL jungle, Mike made it clear that he didn’t have anything more than friendship in mind, which caused Leyla to cry. But now the trained automotive mechatronics engineer, who comes from Essen, is intensifying his efforts to find his new partner and seems to be ready for the next step in their relationship.

Getting to know each other phase after the jungle camp

After the TV appearance, Mike and Leyla got to know each other away from the cameras and both are visibly attracted to each other. People even talked freely about having sex for the first time.

Both have repeatedly made it clear to their fans on Instagram that they are still in a “getting to know you phase” whenever there were questions about the reality TV stars’ current relationship status. They didn’t want to make it official yet.

Mike Heiter and Leyla Lahouar are officially a couple

That apparently changed on Thursday (March 13th): After Mike showed his Leyla his hometown food – including his favorite kebab shop – the big surprise followed in the apartment.

In Mike’s Insta story you can see how he led Leyla through the front door into the living room, where a heart garland was already attached. And Mike has put an important question on the window: “Will you be my girlfriend?” – in German: Do you want to be my girlfriend?

Leyla’s clear reaction when she sees the question: she throws herself around Mike’s neck and they both kiss. Leyla herself also posted the video on her Instagram channel. “She said Yes,” she writes – “She said yes”.

That’s probably answer enough – even for the numerous fans who have long suspected that there was a relationship between the two.
