Two senior citizens lost their lives in an accident in the Miesbach district on Sunday. According to the Holzkirchen police, a 55-year-old drove his car into oncoming traffic on state road 2073. There he collided with an oncoming car in which a 69-year-old and her 84-year-old passenger were sitting.
The two women were so seriously injured that they died at the scene of the accident. The person who caused the accident was taken to hospital seriously injured. The cause of the accident is still being determined. After consultation with the public prosecutor, an expert was also called to the scene of the accident.
