Hunziker’s ex-husband gives an interview: “I still love Michelle, but in a different way”

Entrepreneur Tomaso Trussardi spoke in an interview about the separation from moderator Michelle Hunziker. The 38-year-old reveals a lot of private information in the conversation.
In mid-January, Michelle Hunziker and Tomaso Trussardi announced their separation after ten years together as a couple. The presenter and the entrepreneur married in Bergamo in 2014 and have two daughters together. “We are committed to helping our beautiful girls grow up with love and friendship. Our separation will remain a shared and private journey. There are no further comments to protect our family’s privacy,” said a statement released by the both distributed via the Italian news agency Ansa.
Now Trussardi has given an interview and talked about his failed marriage and other private things. The heir to the Italian fashion company Trussardi told the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera: “The end of a relationship is never nice. I’m not happy and neither is Michelle, but it was a decision that – strange as it may sound – was taken to protect the family and especially our daughters Sole and Celeste, who deserve to have two parents who are happy together. Today, in this new role, we get along well.”
Michelle Hunziker and Tomaso Trussardi wanted a third child
The two sisters are with Hunziker most of the time, but he can see them “whenever I want”. “However, I don’t know if we’re going to be the kind of separated parents who go on vacation together: maybe we’ll start with dinner first,” Trussardi said. He also revealed that the couple wanted a third child together, but it didn’t work out. “I do not regret it.”
The relationship with Hunziker’s eldest daughter Aurora, who comes from the marriage with musician Eros Ramazzotti, is currently a bit cold. “I’ve always tried to be her friend and big brother. I came into her life when she was 16 and I don’t think it was the easiest thing in the world for her.” Trussardi is not on good terms with Ramazzotti. He had “insulted the whole family in the past,” said the 38-year-old, referring to a TV interview with the musician, in which he said that Michelle never laughed in bed with him.
Tomaso Trussardi, on the other hand, only lost good words about Hunziker despite the separation: “She remains the woman I have loved most in my life and I still love her, but in a different way.”
