Actress Florence Pugh surprised at the Met Gala with her hair cropped short and unusual feather construction on her head.
Florence Pugh (27) surprised with her look on the red carpet at the Met Gala in New York City. The British actress appeared at the fashion highlight with razor-short hair. Instead of beach waves, an updo or something similar, a kind of high crown of feathers was enthroned on her head, which was attached to a narrow golden construction that was also fixed at the back of the neck.
Homage to Karl Lagerfeld
In addition, Pugh combined a long, because leaking, evening dress made of cream-colored satin. A special eye-catcher was the long black bow that held the décolleté together. Pearl jewelry adorned her ears and wrists, and her make-up was dramatic.
According to the New York Post her look was a homage to the iconic monochromatic look of the late fashion czar Karl Lagerfeld (1933-2019) and his sleek black suits fastened with a tie. This year’s gala was dedicated to the designer.
