Visually, Meredith Whittaker continues a tradition. Her black locks are just as striking as Moxie Marlinspike’s dreadlocks. But not only the hairstyle of the new Signal President resembles the head of hair of the founder and longtime boss of the messenger. Just like Marlinspike, Whittaker is a harsh critic of the big tech companies and has been fighting surveillance for decades.
