Mercedes-Benz stock and Tesla stock at odds: Mercedes customers get access to Tesla’s superchargers in the US 07/07/2023

Drivers of Mercedes electric cars in North America will in future be able to charge their vehicles using Tesla superchargers.

As Mercedes-Benz announced, customers will have access to the Tesla network from 2024. At the same time, the Stuttgart-based company is building its own global fast-charging network.

By the end of the decade, Mercedes and its US partners will have set up their own fast-charging network with around 400 charging stations and more than 2,500 charging points in North America. During this period, more than 2,000 charging hubs are to be set up in North America, Europe, China and other core markets. In total, these will include more than 10,000 charging points, which can be expanded depending on market needs. The “Charging Hubs” will be accessible to electric vehicles of all brands.

The Mercedes-Benz share finally rose via XETRA by 0.74 percent to 71.95 euros, Tesla papers finally lost 0.76 percent on the NASDAQ to 274.43 US dollars.
