Thomas Markle has announced on British TV that he wants to travel to London for the Queen’s Jubilee. Duchess Meghan’s father also sharply criticized his daughter and Prince Harry for their withdrawal from the royal family.
Thomas Markle has given a TV interview that should only deepen the rift between him and his daughter Duchess Meghan. At the British broadcaster “GB News” he shared against her and her husband Prince Harry. The statements are harsh. Among other things, he said that he believes that Meghan deliberately alienated Harry from the royal family.
“I don’t know why. But I think it had something to do with him moving out or taking her away. I don’t buy that story about him having to protect her from things that made her unhappy . I didn’t believe it when it came out, this suicide story,” Markle said, referring to Meghan and Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
There, the two had said that the pressure in the palace was so great that Meghan was struggling with suicidal thoughts. The two were just looking for a reason to leave, Markle said.
