White House: Biden and Xi condemn threat of nuclear weapons

US President Joe Biden and China’s head of state Xi Jinping agree: A nuclear war should never be waged. After the meeting in Bali, the White House publishes the first results of the talks.
US President Joe Biden and China’s head of state and party leader Xi Jinping have condemned Russian threats to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
Both sides also agreed that “nuclear war should never be fought,” the White House said after a presidential meeting on the Indonesian island of Bali.
