The cause of the respiratory symptoms was unclear. Police were unable to identify any substances or gases that could be responsible. She assumed that previously unknown perpetrators sprayed an unknown substance that caused the students to have respiratory problems. The alarm was triggered in the morning. In addition to numerous ambulances, two civil protection trains and a rescue helicopter were also sent to the school.

A primary school in Neubrandenburg was evacuated last Friday. Children and teachers had complained of breathing problems in the dining room. The cause has not yet been found.
