Among the 241 texts already received (we hope to reach the 300 mark by this Thursday evening), a selection of the ten best manuscripts will be made by New Authors, who will publish the book at the end of the year. The jury of the “Prize 20 minutes of the novel “, chaired by Maxime Chattam, our godfather surrounded by journalists from the editorial staff and readers of the platform” 20 minutes books ”, will take over this summer to determine the four finalists, then the winner whose novel will be published at the end of the year.
One in five manuscripts deals with the “next world” in SF
What kinds of novels have you submitted to us? Contemporary literature leads (27%), followed by science fiction (19%), thriller (15%), adventure (13%), fantasy (8%), detective (7%) , the sentimental novel (5%), the fantasy (5%) and the historical novel (1%). We note an important part of SF this year, proof that many authors have taken the theme of the “next world” at face value.
