Homer, Aristotle and Hippocrates have also been guarding the entrance to the “Stabi” as stone sculptures for almost two hundred years. Anyone who visits the Bavarian State Library in Munich on Ludwigstrasse takes a certain inner stance. Not only does some dust trickle down quietly, but also a sense of awe from the impressive neo-renaissance façade.
