Matthias Schweighöfer is part of the cast of the new Netflix project “Heart of Stone” and will play alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
New Hollywood job for Matthias Schweighöfer (40)! The actor has landed a role in thriller Heart of Stone, Deadline reports. He will soon be playing alongside stars like “Wonder Woman” Gal Gadot (36) or “Fifty Shades of Gray” star Jamie Dornan (39). With Schweighöfer, Sophie Okonedo (53), Jing Lusi (36) and Paul Ready (45) were also confirmed as newcomers to the cast.
Plot is not known yet
What the Netflix project is about has not yet been leaked. Tom Harper (42), who is known for his work on “Peaky Blinders”, will be directing. The script was written by Greg Rucka (52) and Allison Schroeder, the latter was also responsible for the Oscar-nominated “Hidden Figures”.
Apparently, Schweighöfer is currently doing quite well on his way to Hollywood. “Deadline” describes him in his announcement as the audience favorite of Zack Snyder’s (56) “Army of the Dead” and the spin-off “Army of Thieves.” On Sunday he was with his girlfriend Ruby O. Fee (26) at the Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica. There they shared the red carpet with the likes of Kristen Stewart (31) and Maggie Gyllenhaal (44).
