Actor and director Mathieu Kassovitz was the victim of a serious motorcycle accident this Sunday while he was on the Linas-Monthléry circuit (Essonne). His days “are not in danger”, according to those close to him.
While he will be showing Wednesday in the thriller “Visions” with Diane Kruger, Mathieu Kassovitz was the victim this Sunday, September 3 of a serious motorcycle accident at the Linas-Monthléry autodrome. The actor and director would be in a “worrying” state of health but “his days are not in danger”, according to his relatives.
He was transported to the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital (Val-de-Marne), added the same source. The 56-year-old actor was doing a motorcycle course on the autodrome racing circuit, a police source told AFP.
Mathieu Kassovitz is notably the director of “La Haine” (1995) and the actor of dozens of films (“A very discreet hero” by Jacques Audiard, “Amen” by Costa-Gavras…), as well as the series spy film “The Legends Office” by Eric Rochant.
