It has now been exactly one week since Swiss Post released the new record from mastodon brought. It’s a double album and lasts just under 90 minutes. So you can listen to it 16 times in a day. (Waking and sleeping are not distinguishable categories in this type of music anyway.) In a week you get 112 runs. And that is far too little to want to say in a well-founded manner how good exactly “Hushed And Grim” (Reprise Records) is.
