Andre Ameri from the registry office in Puchheim can also confirm that special dates are happy to be chosen. Two couples get married there. In Mammendorf, Johannes Steinitz will close four marriages on this day. “It’s definitely more than usual,” he says. Weddings would normally take place on Fridays, during the week this only happens if the day has a special meaning for the wedding couple or it is an unusual date, like February 22 this year.
