A traffic light is the best way to reduce the risk of accidents at the Indersdorfer Gabel as quickly as possible and at the same time ensure the efficiency of the intersection. This is the result of a traffic report commissioned by the Freising State Building Authority. The traffic light system is to be implemented in the course of this year.
In the past, accidents have repeatedly occurred at the so-called Indersdorfer Gabel, i.e. where State Road 2050 from Markt Indersdorf meets State Road 2047. Classic traffic law measures such as a speed limit of 60 kilometers per hour, visual signs, a stop sign and a priority sign for left-turning traffic have not been sufficient to reduce the number of accidents. Now it should direct a traffic light.
