A 31-year-old man was shot in the eye during the night from Saturday to Sunday in Château-Thierry, in Aisne, while he was in his car. The victim “is neither from nor domiciled in [le département] » and the reasons “for his presence” in town “are not yet established”, indicated the Soissons public prosecutor’s office.
These events took place “at the exit of an establishment” around “2:30 a.m.”, added this source, specifying that the investigation opened for murder had been entrusted to the Château-Thierry police station and to the judicial police services of Creil. “The perpetrator of the shot is being identified” and has not been arrested, added the prosecution.
According to a police source, “two men were in the car”, but “the passenger was not able to explain why, nor the circumstances” of this murder.
