A man was shot dead and another seriously injured during a football tournament in a city of Marseille on Friday evening, the police headquarters said confirming

Several people were gathered at La Martine stadium, in the 15th arrondissement of Marseille, for an inter-district tournament, the HCup.
An open investigation
According to the first elements of the investigation, a car arrived at the stadium and its occupants shot at two football players who were participating in the tournament. One is deceased and the other is in “very serious” condition, the same source said.
A psychological support system was to be put in place for the spectators who attended the scene. The sub-prefect must go there. The judicial police were in charge of the investigation.
