A man is said to have tried to lure children into his car with chocolate on the way to school in Middle Franconia. The stranger suspiciously addressed a boy in Wendelstein (Roth district) on Tuesday morning, a police spokeswoman said on Wednesday. The boy ran away and alerted a teacher. This notified the police.
A week ago on Wednesday, an unknown person had approached a boy in a nearby part of the community. This man also asked the child to go with chocolate, the police said. The Schwabach criminal police suspect that it is the same man in both cases. According to police, both children are under the age of 13.
