After a car check, a man injured two officers at the police station in Upper Palatinate. A police spokesman said on Monday that a brass knuckles, a telescopic baton and several knives were also found in the 27-year-old’s car.
During a subsequent search at the station in Waldsassen, near the border with the Czech Republic, the man resisted and, according to the information, injured the two officers moderately. They were taken to hospital after the attack, which occurred on Saturday. The 27-year-old is under investigation.
