After allegedly several shots from a blank pistol, the police arrested a man on Thursday in Passau, Lower Bavaria. According to initial findings, the man injured himself when he was shot, the police said. Other people were not harmed. The 46-year-old is receiving medical treatment for his injury.
Further information about the crime and the background could not yet be given, it was still being determined, it said. The police had previously cordoned off the area and asked people to stay indoors.
