A man has died in a swimming accident in Lower Bavaria. Water rescue service divers found the 33-year-old lifeless in a lake near Mamming (Dingolfing-Landau district), the police announced on Monday.
Witnesses had previously alerted the emergency services on Saturday because the swimmer was missing. The fire department and a rescue helicopter were also involved in the search. The Landshut criminal police are investigating the cause of death.
