Magician Jörg Alexander starts “The Journey to Amazement” in the Teamtheater – Munich

Under the stage name “Alexander, the man who knows” – the American Claude Alexander Conlin, decked out in oriental robes and a feathered turban, was a visual sensation at the beginning of the last century He then worked as a highly paid stage mentalist, specializing in clairvoyance. “Of course he was an absolute charlatan, I estimate he was married eleven times, he was in prison in between, and as far as I know there was also a murder charge,” says the Munich magician Jörg Alexander. Nevertheless, in the tenth edition of his “Magic & Culinary” series, which premieres on October 14th in the Team Theater, he will, among other things, remember this historical magical personality. His partner Carola slips into the role of “Caroline, the woman who knows” and impresses the audience with her skills – “she has a fantastic memory,” Alexander reveals in advance.

He is also described by another “absolute rascal”. Specialist in magic history tell about the American con artist and charlatan Henry Slade, born in 1836, who pretended to be able to come into contact with the spirits of the deceased in séances. There is definitely enough material for the award-winning Munich magician, who is also a pioneer in storytelling magic in Germany.
