Loving congratulations for daughter Leonore

Princess Madeleine of Sweden celebrates her daughter Leonore’s tenth birthday with a loving message.
Princess Madeleine of Sweden (41) always lets her Instagram followers share her private life with photos and videos. This was also the case on the tenth birthday of her eldest daughter Leonore: on Tuesday (February 20th) the youngest daughter of the Swedish king shared a new snapshot of the ten-year-old.
Alongside the photo, which shows Leonore sitting in a tree in a white dress with floral embroidery, Madeleine wrote: “Happy birthday to our fun and adventurous girl! Never stop climbing all the trees you love and from all the fun things that lie ahead. We love you!”
Princess, but not a Royal Highness
Princess Leonore is the eldest child of Madeleine of Sweden and her husband Christopher O’Neill (49). She was born on February 20, 2014 in New York City and was baptized on June 8 of the same year in the church at Drottningholm Castle in Sweden. Her godmothers include her aunt, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden (46). Leonore is ninth in the line of succession to the Swedish throne, followed by her younger siblings Prince Nicolas (8) and Princess Adrienne (3).
By a decree of her grandfather, King Carl XVI. Gustaf (77), from 2019, Leonore lost the title “Royal Highness”. However, the ten-year-old can continue to carry her title as Princess and that of Duchess of Gotland. Her mother publicly supported the decision.
