British police should get more money to search for Maddie
So far, police in Great Britain have been searching for Maddie without success

Several hundred thousand pounds are expected to advance the search for the missing Madeleine McCann, known as Maddie. This month is her 21st birthday.
17 years after the little one disappeared The British Home Office is providing Maddie with additional money for the investigation. The ministry has approved the Metropolitan Police up to 192,000 pounds (the equivalent of around 225,000 euros) for the period 2024/2025, the British news agency PA reported on Wednesday, citing a question in Parliament.
The British police announced their own investigation in 2011. The total cost of “Operation Grange” by the end of March would have been 13.2 million pounds (around 15.4 million euros), wrote State Secretary Andrew Sharpe. The budget is currently funding a team of three police officers and one other employee, all on a part-time basis.
Maddie has been missing for 17 years

In the summer of 2020 it became known that there was a German murder suspect. Christian B. is currently on trial in Braunschweig for other allegations. In the current trial he is accused of three counts of rape and two cases of sexual abuse of children in Portugal. Overall, the presumption of innocence applies.
