Interviewed by the American channel CBS, President Emmanuel Macron announced that France would “gradually lift” the entry restrictions on its territory at the beginning of next month for certain countries or type of population, in particular for Americans who have received doses of the vaccine against the coronavirus.

The French president also mentioned a “special pass” which will allow travel between European countries once the various health restrictions have been lifted and which should be created soon. “We are in the process of building a European certificate to facilitate travel after these restrictions, between different European countries with tests and vaccination,” he detailed in this interview published on Sunday.
