Times are tough for Netflix. The streaming giant lost 200,000 subscribers worldwide in the first quarter, compared to the end of 2021, a first for more than ten years. According to the company, this drop is mainly linked to the difficulty of acquiring new subscribers in all regions of the world, but also to the suspension of the service in Russia. The news was obviously not well received by investors. Unsurprisingly, the company’s stock tumbled on Wall Street on Tuesday.
