The most important watch fair in the world is taking place in Geneva, the hometown of many large watch factories. On the “Watches & Wonders” market leader Rolex is presenting its latest models, including a new Rolex Daytona and an Oyster Perpetual with colorful bubbles on a turquoise dial. The atmosphere at the fair is said to be excellent, with some collections being sold out in just two days. At the same time, the watch market is currently swaying, away from the luxury exhibition halls. The prices for particularly exposed watches on the second-hand market have been falling drastically for months. Many experts believe that the often cited “Rolex bubble” has already burst.
