Luis Enrique insulted by Mbappé upon his exit? The Parisian coach’s response in an astonishing sequence

While social networks ignited over a supposed insult dropped by Kylian Mbappé as he left the field this Sunday, during the OM-PSG Classic, Luis Enrique said he “saw nothing” and responded with irony.

Several memes will perhaps emerge from this sequence in the coming days. At a press conference this Sunday, after PSG’s victory against OM (2-0), Luis Enrique once again put on a show. In addition to his explanations on the Parisian performance, the Spanish technician did not escape questions about Kylian Mbappé.

On social networks after the match, Internet users got excited about a sequence: that of the exit of Kylian Mbappé, replaced shortly after the hour mark by Gonçalo Ramos. As he leaves the pitch, the Parisian striker utters a few words which, according to some, are insults addressed to his coach. Even if there is nothing to confirm either the nature of his remarks or to whom they were addressed.

At a press conference, a journalist asked Luis Enrique if he was aware of insulting remarks that would have been made by the player against him. The former Barça coach, who gave a hint of a laugh then a sort of grimace, then remained frozen for long seconds, before simply declaring: “I saw nothing. Nothing at all.”

A little earlier on Prime Video, he said he was “tired” of constantly having to justify his management of Kylian Mbappé: “It’s always the same music, every week. It’s tiring. I’m the coach, I make decisions every day. And that’s what I’m going to do until my last day at PSG. I always try to find the best solution for Paris. Sometimes I can be wrong but those are my choices .”
