Luigi “Gigi” Birofio can move to the jungle. Just in time for the start of the season, he tested negative after his corona infection.

“Gigi fans can breathe easy”, says the official Instagram account of “I’m a star – get me out of here!”. Trash TV macho Luigi “Gigi” Birofio (23) has survived his corona infection and has been tested “several negatively”. So nothing stands in the way of his entry into the RTL jungle camp.

The broadcaster reported last weekend that the 23-year-old had tested positive for the corona virus on site in Australia. Birofio’s participation in the 16th season of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” was therefore on the brink to this day.

Birofio had “no symptoms”

According to his own statement, he had no symptoms and was therefore surprised by the positive test himself: “Bad news: I’m just corona positive! I don’t understand why – I’m actually doing great. But I have no idea, the test was positive now.”

Birofio is fit again for the start of the season on January 13th. It starts on Friday at 9:30 p.m. on RTL and RTL+.
